Author: Yesterday evening, you could follow live the BRIT Awards 2012 and of course I was watching, not only for the red carpet outfits but also because Ed Sheeran was nominated and Adele as well. Ed Sheeran won two awards which are British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act, congratulations Ed, you deserve all the awards! Adele won British Female Solo Artist and MasterCard British Album of the Year, congratulations and well deserved too!

Last time we ended with Blair and Dan kissing at Nate’s party, Chuck who discovered the kiss as well thanks to Georgina her picture. The real Charlie Rhodes meeting fake Charlie Rhodes aka Ivy Dickens at Nate’s party and Chuck Bass using Dan’s book agent to get vengeance on Dan after what he kissed Blair.
I dedicated a blogpost a few days ago to Ed Sheeran in honour of his birthday, what a huge fan I am, how I have been listening to his album “+” non-stop and still do and MNM had a contest since last Friday on their website to win a meet and greet with Ed Sheeran + attend the live showcase at MNM + see his show in Brussels (that is sold out by the way). I was really upset when I found out that it was already sold out that show in Brussels and I was determined to do ANYTHING, just ANYTHING to see him live, even if it meant making a video or recording a message on the voicemail of De Avondshow from MNM. When I went to Najib Amhali yesterday evening I was brainstorming and brainstorming what could I do or make to gain an extra chance to be one of the winners and so even though I had left a message on their voicemail yesterday evening, I also decided to make a video because they told me that Ed prefers a video message instead of a voice message on their voicemail. I put my shyness away and made a short video (30 secs) and today when it was almost time for De Avondshow, they called me because I had sent a message of how I stayed up until 3/4 AM to come up with a good idea for the contest. On the phone Dave Peeters said that he received my normal entry + the video message (for an extra chance) and that I should keep my mobile phone nearby, that he couldn’t promise anything but that I should keep an eye on my mobile phone.

Tonight I’ll be seeing one of my favourite Dutch comedians Najib Amhali in Antwerp! Really excited about it, have been looking forward to it for about a month so yes, very excited!
As most of you know, I’m a big fan of Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick, they are both so great in acting and I just think they are amazing in general. Some weeks ago I watched “Monte Carlo” with Leighton Meester in it and decided to purchase the DVD of that movie and I also purchased “The Roommate” where Leighton Meester also plays in. As last, another movie where Ed Westwick plays in which is “Chalet Girl”. I have seen all three movies but as a supporter of both of them and as I liked all three movies I decided to purchase them. I purchased them at http://www.cosmox.be/ which is a great webshop. They have good prices, free delivery and they ship fast.
Taylor Swift performed this song ft. The Civil Wars recently at the Grammy Awards 2012 but now you can also see the music video. She looks so pretty in it as usual. It’s a soundtrack for the upcoming movie “The Hunger Games”. Speaking about The Hunger Games, I have ordered the trilogy book set of “The Hunger Games”. Looking forward to read it because I heard so many good things about it and many people recommended me to read it. Purchased it on amazon.co.uk for the total price of £14.62, not bad, eh ?

My amazing friend Nicky and for the ones that don’t know her, she makes the amazing cartoons called NickyToons, check them out here got me this awesome “Gossip Girl” t-shirt as a surprise! Isn’t that just too sweet and kind of her? I couldn’t believe it when she said to me that she saw this “Gossip Girl” t-shirt in Germany and that she couldn’t resist not not buying it for me, she had to think of me immediately she said, ahwww. I’m so proud and happy to have a dear friend like Nicky, you’re the best! If I can ever do something for you, let me know and if I ever see something that is totally for you, then I’ll let you know for sure. The t-shirt came apparently from a shop called Mister Lady, never heard of it but I don’t care, I’m just happy to see “Gossip Girl” on this t-shirt, there is barely any merchandise of “Gossip Girl” so me is happy! Thank you, thank you Nicky, dankjewel lieve Nicky!

Since last year I have an iPod touch and I didn’t install more apps until a few weeks ago, I just forgot everytime that even though it’s not an iPhone (would love to have one though someday but they are so darn expensive) that I could also install free apps. One of those apps that I installed is instagr.am. It’s a fun (free) app where you can share pictures with your friends and you can choose a filter to make the picture look a bit more special and fun. There are all kinds of filters, there is normal, amaro, rise, hudson and X-pro 2, sierra, Lo-fi, earlybird, sutro, toaster, brannan, inkwell, walden, hefe, valencia, nashville, 1977 and kelvin.
Yesterday, I uploaded a picture of two DVD’s that arrived yesterday which are “Monte Carlo” and “Chalet Girl”, I love chick flick movies and of course it helps that Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick play in the movies too. And today I discovered that none other than Leighton Meester liked my picture, I was so happy, haha, I know it sounds stupid but it’s just awesome that she, one of my favourite actresses of all times liked my picture on instagr.am. On instagr.am there are also celebrities and websites/webshops and not to forget bloggers too. You can share your pictures from instagr.am also on Twitter and Facebook. In honour of Ed Sheeran’s birthday, I thought I would write a short review about his album “+” that I purchased a couple of months ago. The first week I got it, I have been listening non-stop to it and I still do that to this day and probably will for quite a while. Yep, his music is my addiction, in a good way, hehe. I wake up with his music and I sleep with his music. He has such an amazing, beautiful and soothing voice, not to mention that his songs are all so beautiful, you can tell they are personal songs.
Well, some of you might not know who he is (shame on you then 
just kidding ). He only started to break through in Belgium since January but I have known his music for a longer time. Let me introduce you to Ed Sheeran.
Edward Christopher Sheeran is born in Halifax, The UK on the 17th of February 1991. He is a British singer-songwriter and has been active in the music business since 2005. He first auditioned for the television serie Brittania High of Independent Television but things really got rolling when he left his management office in 2010 and bought a ticket to Los Angeles. In Los Angeles, he attended several open-mic evenings and there he got noticed by the owner of The Foxxhole who was Jamie Foxx. He invited Ed over to record some songs. During that year, he got more and more recognition, thanks to his YouTube channel, through an article in The Independent and even more thanks to soccer captain Rio Ferdinand and superstar Elton John. They both saw how much talent he had. From that time on, he gained more and more succes up until today and I bet he has a bright future ahead of him. In June 2011 he broke through with his hit single “The A Team” and at the moment he is signed to Asylum / Atlantic Records. He is doing very well, the concert tickets for his UK tour were sold out in no time , I’m very happy for him because he has so much talent that he deserves the success.
